Jessica Rysyk is a Toronto based artist, specializing in resin sculpture. Jessica obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sculpture and Installation from OCAD University, in 2016. Prior to this Jessica attended Georgian College in 2010, for an Art Fundamentals Course.
Her arts practice has brought her across Canada and the United Sates of America creating large-scale permanent public art works in various venues, fostering International partnerships for her resin work, education workshops, and custom commissions.
Jessica's personal work is influenced and inspired by the natural world such as environmental and social justice issues, urbanity and architecture. Her work often brings natural and synthetic materials, forms, and concepts together.
Aside from her own sculpture projects, Jessica runs a fabrication business where she’s creates custom resin sculptures, moulds, and commissions for various artists, business's, and corporations both locally and internationally such as: Meta, Amazon Prime, Jamie Shannon (creator of Nanalan), Aragon Properties, and JW Marriott.
